Who we are
JKTabak sources, grades, packs and ships raw tobacco leaf. The core of our range is Pakistani flue-cured Virginia and dark air-cured leaf, handled at our depot in Swabi, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Burley, oriental and cigar leaf are sourced separately to buyers’ specifications. Sales and customer contact are coordinated from Oudenaarde in Belgium.
JKTabak has been in the tobacco leaf trade for 20 years. We ship to buyers in more than 20 countries, in loose leaf, hand-stemmed, machine-stemmed, strip, scrap and blend forms.
Who runs it
Junaid Khan is the CEO and leads the company’s work in raw tobacco and strip production for export. Enquiries sent through this site or to sales@jktabak.com reach the sales team directly.
Adam Smith is our quality checker and content researcher. Adam researches and writes the product pages and buyer guides on this site and reviews every page before it is published, which is why each page carries a “Reviewed by” line. Our editorial policy explains how pages are written and checked.

What we do, in practice
JKTabak does four things: we buy and grade leaf, we process it into the forms buyers ask for, we pack it for export, and we handle the paperwork and shipping so that it arrives with the documents the importer needs. We do not make finished products, and we do not sell to consumers.
Our two offices
Our Pakistani office and depot are at Swabi, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. That is where leaf is graded, stemmed, packed and prepared for loading. Our European office in Oudenaarde, Belgium, is the base for sales and customer contact, so European and Middle Eastern buyers can reach us in their own working hours. How we grade and describe leaf
We describe our lots by measured values wherever we can, and say clearly when a figure is indicative. Our own lot sheets carry the numbers shown on the product tables, and we update them as crops and prices change. When a buyer asks for a figure we do not hold, such as TSNA data or a residue test, we say so and tell them what can be arranged. Samples, photographs and video
We would rather a buyer saw the leaf than took our word for it. Where it is practical and lawful, we send samples, and we share current photographs and video of lots on request. The pictures and clips on this site, including the gallery and videos pages, come from our own lots.
What we are not
- We are not a manufacturer of cigarettes, cigars or shisha, and we do not make consumer products.
- We are not a retailer, and we do not sell small quantities to individuals.
- We do not give health advice, and we make no health claims about any tobacco.
- We are not a legal or customs adviser. Your own broker or lawyer is the final authority on what you may import.

Contact and responsibility
For any question about this site, the products or an order, email sales@jktabak.com. If you find a mistake on a page, tell us and we will correct it. The health and compliance notice explains the checks we run on buyers and what we expect of them.
How to verify us before you buy
We would rather buyers checked us than took our word. Here is a short list of things you can do, none of which we mind:
- Check the company details. Our addresses are on this page and the contact page. Look us up in the relevant company registries and ask us for registration details.
- Ask for references, and judge the answer: a supplier that cannot name a single existing buyer is a risk.
- Ask for a sample from the lot you intend to buy, and test it.
- Ask for lot-specific test results, with the lot number on them.
- Request photographs or video of the lot and of the loading.
- Consider independent inspection at loading, and tell us who you want to use.
- Use a payment structure that protects both sides for a first order.

If you ask for something we cannot provide, we will say so and tell you what we can offer instead.
Our position on claims
We have tried to say on this site only what we can support. Where a general statement about the trade is made, it is marked as such. Where a statement is about our lots, it comes from our lot sheets. Where we do not have a figure or a certificate, we say so. If you find a place where we have not met that standard, please tell us, and we will fix it.

Tobacco is harmful to health. JKTabak supplies tobacco leaf to licensed commercial buyers only (manufacturers, processors, importers and distributors). The buyer is responsible for confirming that import, purchase and resale of tobacco is lawful in the destination country.
